The von Liebig Art Center is celebrating Clyde Butcher's amazing photographic work with three events this month.

January 14th - (5:30 p.m.) - Film Screening of "Big Cypress Swamp: The Western Everglades," Q&A with Clyde Butcher and filmmaker Elam Stoltzfus, cocktail reception, and free copy of the film DVD. Cost is $50.00

January 15th - (6:30 p.m.) - America the Beautiful: From Clyde Butcher's Collection to Yours. Your chance to own a framed 20x30 black-and-white photograph (framed to 37x27) from the artist's America the Beautiful series of National Parks images. Also the Loxahatchee River will be sold at live auction during the event. For a $250.00 ticket, you could win a spectacular piece of art!

January 22nd - (5:30 - 7:30 p.m.) - Opening Reception for Big Cypress Swamp: The Western Everglades Landscape by Clyde Butcher, Naples Collects 2010 and members' Gallery Third Show of the Season. Catered by Whole Foods Market. Free for members/$10 for non-members.

January 23rd to February 28th - Big Cypress Swamp: The Western Everglades Landscape by Clyde Butcher exhibition that features Butcher's compositions that distinctly mark him as the foremost landscape photographer in America today.
